Information
The rocky and then muddy beach of Severn Beach isn't the prettiest in the world (or even in the Bristol Channel for that matter) but it is possible to windsurf here either an hour or so before high tide in a NE wind or an hour or so after high tide in a SW wind. These wind against tide conditions provide good blasting back and forth sailing in the shadow of the Second Severn Crossing.

Access is difficult, the dangerous currents make it unsuitable for beginners and therefore it isn't that popular.
